Go to visitors center at Canyonlands and just ask for it. Fill the form out for the day you want and that's it's. Of course you pay to get in park but that's like $15 for a week. You can get a permit online in advance if you want.

Fins and things was doable on my xr650r when I went through there in 2010. Traction was unbelievable. Lots of fun. RoyQ looks like are having a great week.

Metal masher and Poison spider become easy after Satartia In ms lol

I'm not so unsure I can't do slick rock on my S10, who needs a dirtbike I've done some bad knarly stuff on that big S10 why stop now.

I like that big thing, I threw a 30' roost today in a sand wash trying to make a route correction on Genini bridges, big bike got it power wise which can over come gravity and elevation, just stay in it!

Side by side losers bow down to me on the S10 in the middle of no where and Rocky steep hell. They are crawling all buttoned up and I fly up the same thing and fly on by. Like I said earlier it's how good do you ride is what counts here. If you're struggling in ms don't come here and try the worst trail here. If you been on a dirtbike your whole life a 250 lb bike is easy anywhere and a 600 lb bike is to get your heart rate up a bit.

This is me doing "Fins & THings" (SOuth Loop) in my Jeep... A few of these places would be an interesting climb climb on a bike... I know the slick rock is good traction but some are near vertical, so I would be fighting not to wheelie over backwards... It's all momentum on 2 wheels... lol

I rode the slick rock bicycle section, loved it, very challenging, bicycle guys were very friendly along the trail. It's very steep in places up and down. Lots of off cancer steepness too. Not a place to make a mistake the tumble would be costly.

Rode fins and things, didn't like it too 4x4 and buggy oriented. The WR had no trouble with the few steep sections.

Rode prichet canyon to chicken corner. Rocky and rough as hell. Few long deep sand sections to deal with. Will post pics later. 86 miles on the WR today as is on fire.

Kanes creek trail, made it almost to 191 but hit a huge road block a section I just didn't want to attempt alone. Jeep path was split from the bike path so no one behind me would even know I was down there.

90% of trail looked like this criss crossed the creek many times. Side bank trail was deep red sand.

This is where the jeeps would go up this and bike path was down the hill to left near a parking spot.

This is looking down bike path which is far right the there was a steep drop off then across creek and back up other side.

This is the drop off and I was not sure if once down it could I get back up alone if the trail got worse ahead. A gamble I wasn't ready to take alone.

If I some how did manage to get up that this is what the rest of trail looked like headed back up to parking spot and jeep trail split. Going down easy coming back up not so easy especially alone and a sheer drop off the whole way on right side.

I turned around and back tracked to trail head. Rode 50 miles yesterday on WR. Ended up with 400 miles on Tenere and almost 300 on WR. Rode as much as I could do alone on WR and not get to risky. Would love to do more but definetely need a riding buddy or two along some of this stuff.

Just got in from riding the MS border for everything north of Hwy 82. Pretty sure we followed the road grader right up the levy. Fun trip! Unfortunately I got lazy with pictures once we turned east, but I got in a few levy shots. 835mi over 3 days.
