I have a new Garmin Nuvi 660 and just moved to Virginia. Where's the best place to get GPS routes for the area to explore the backroads?

Sorry that nobody has been able to help you...
For street riding, VDOT puts out a "scenic roads" map. I would hook up with some local ADV'ers and ride with them, they will know the best routes! I've been living in VA for 42 years and just last weekend some ADV friends showed me several roads, restaurants and trails I have never been on!

Also, check out this site, you can find local routes near you!

I saved some twisty paved road segments for Va & WVa as MapSource GDB files. These segments aren't entire routes, because I've only highlighted the twisty sections. Depending where you want to go, these segments can be pieced together to make a good ride. I've motorcycled around this area for 40+ years & know the mountainous parts of central Va pretty well. Send me a PM & I'll email you some GDBs.
