I'm liking what I'm seeing!
Keep it rolling!
tugboats is definatley a good option. better parking, less visability.
so say it the flock!
good to hear from the clergy....what can i say i'm a heratic.
but for The REV. SUNDAY IT IS! (beside if it wasn't for you, i wouldn't be making an ass of myself on here )
so i'll continue with my leap of faith and drive on with the SUNDAY morning thing at the SPAR. 7:00 AM everyweekend.
So, what day makes the most sense?
I'm thinking about April 1, 7, or 14.
Who wants to chime in regarding dates?!
Let's get 'er nailed down!
well i'm gonna say the 1st,
the 7th is a Saturday, and I'll be camping anyway http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213777
and the 14th i'll be working (rat bastards)
Might not matter to you ff's, but I should attend. I could shoot for the 7th tho...
I was kinda hoping the 7th would work best...
We've got the North Sound MAG next Thursday and I'll need to let my liver dry out a little bit...
So what kind of bike would be necessary for this ride? I can go either way. I swing like that.
I am chiming in for the 1st Since you will be in stomping grounds for once.
Bring a big dually and be ready for a gravel road run in the capitol forest between breakfast and lunch.
I can do April 1, 7, or 14.
I'll go with the majority...no worries.
what is wrong with both? if ya can't make one make the other or both.
oh and i'll be there this sunday just the same.
You've got a great point...but if you comb your hair slightly to the left no one will notice.
Place: the Spar, Olympia
When: Sunday the 25th
I'll be doing this every week when i'm not working.
Sun - 25 MAR
Sun - 1 APR
Sun - 8 APR (easter drink special - rusty nail)
Sun - 15 APR (working - someone else take lead)
Sun - 22 APR (working - someone else take lead)
Sun - 29 APR
I think I'll be able to make the early portion of this Sunday's breakfast.
Here's the location per google maps, http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=the+spar&near=Olympia,+WA&cid=0,0,3248705211320098524&ll=47.044928,-122.901477&spn=0,.02&iwstate1=dir:to&iwloc=A&f=d&daddr=114+4th+Ave+E,+Olympia,+WA+98501,+USA&sa=X&oi=local&ct=directions-to&cd=1
Have we picked a firm date yet? April 7th, 14th or 15th are all good days.
Breakfast at Spar at 7:00AM (damn, that's early for us mid-sounders! ) followed by lunch at Fish Brewing around 1:30?!
If someone wants to lead a ride between breakfast and lunch, please jump in and lay it out! Maddaddy had some great ride ideas and so long as he can make one of the dates let's let him start the dialogue! Cool?
Okay, who's in???
I'll also post a link in the Mid- and North-Sound MAG posts to try and inspire more Riders to join in...
ANY OF THE DATES IN APRIL WORK FOR ME. I'LL TRY TO GET A COUPLE OF FAIR WEATHER WEENIES TO COME ALONG FOR THE FUN.
7:00 is the time i'll be there along with any other early birds. helps claim prime parking. i don't expect to ride until 9:00 at the earliest. but we'll see which way the wind blows. i have two routes planned. one with light forest roads, one without . both are around 200 and change. figure 5 to 6 hours in the saddle with stopping to smell the flowers included.
If the weather isn't too miserable, I'm going to try and make it for breakfast. I'm guessing that it'd take me an hour to get there...you'd see me around 8:XX o'clock. Don't eat all the hashbrowns!
I need to put some miles on the new rubber.
Anyone up here want to head down with me?
Okay, think sun!
By the way, I'm still shooting for a date in April, too!

I'm liking the looks of purple on a map! It must be riding season again!
