30% chance of showers (i.e. Not gonna happen)
high of 52. will be a wee bit nipply in z-morning.
I might be a little short on time; family obligations and such.
Could I shorten either of these routes, if I needed to? Is there a spot where I could cut out, or is it a loop with no escape?
I'm probably good for a couple hours of riding after breakfast at most.
Let me know.
Any Middle- and North-Sound Breakfast MAG ideas?
I know this sounds like a better idea with blue sky in the forecast but now's the time to toss out ideas and make a plan!
No worries. There are plenty of places to cut out and those routes are just suggestions. Let’s see what kind of group we get and go from there. And please bring any route suggestions as well. Cheers.
Today's weather is not looking anything like 30% chance of rain! I hope tomorrow is looking better but I have my doubts...Oly is a long way to ride in the rain only to ride further in the rain.
Geez, I just realized who I sound like.
I'll try my best fellas...
The family obligations finally won; I'm baggin' out boys. I definitely wanted to head down but I was really pushing it with the family; need to keep my powder dry, if you know what I mean.
Thanks Maddaddy for rallying the troops. I'll need to focus on April 7th, 14th, or 15th, whichever works out best. Hopefully, we can get another group together for one of those days and maybe wrangle a few from up this way, too.
Have fun, stay dry, and be safe! I hereby release my portion of the hashbrowns...
sorry to hear you can't make it.
i'm on the DINK program so i pretty much get to play anytime i want.
and do you know where your ADV rider are? :-(
danride and I had a fantastic teeth jarring ride through the olympic forest. there's still some snow out there but we found a route that took us from wynooche lake to the east side of 101. note to self (buy TKC 80's!! or write a book on how to thrash a set of tourance's in a day.)
so the south sound breakfast and ride had increased by 100%!!!! ...um ....2 riders
see you next week!
I'm glad you made it out. I was hoping you did!
I was a good sport with my family obligations and able to get in a 90-minute street ride late this afternoon. I broke in the TKC 80s a bit more. Buy them - you will love them...just don't buy them on a rainy day like, ahem, I did. That was a little freaky...
I hope to get down there soon. The 7th, 14th, and 15th are still looking the best for me.
How about others?
I'M ON THE SINK PROGRAM, SO LET'S DO IT AGAIN. THE WEATHER TURNED GREAT, AND THERE WAS NO DUST! IMAGINE THAT! THERE'S LOTS MORE ROUTES TO EXPLORE . THE KNOBS ON THE KAROO'S HAVE A COUPLE MORE RIDES LEFT IN THEM. I ENJOYED THE COMPANY AND THE ROUTE .
I was thinking more would have shown with the great weather, too bad. Sounds like at least two of you's had fun.
Me, I was and have been painting a ceiling [Rotate 90-Right] <ROTATE 90-Right> in my old place while on maternity leave with the Mrs.
Hope to make next rendezvous
Looks like it was a good time!
I met with my good friend from Fish Brewing Co. today and sorted out the MAG plans. He's excited about everyone showing up and is very supportive. Itll be a great MAG for sure!
Place: Fish Brewing Company in Olympia is the spot!
Address: 515 Jefferson Street S.E., Olympia, WA 98501
Date: Saturday, April 14, 2007
Time: 1:00PM - Whenever!
So, Id like to welcome you all to meet up at their new brewpub, affectionately known as the Fishbowl. They serve wonderful, fresh food that's organic, too...just like their beer!
If the weather is decent, we should try to work in a ride before or after the MAG!
