im thinking about purchasing Givi Outback Trekker panniers from Motostorm. I currently have SW-Motech EVO racks on my Africa twin. Is there an adapter that will work for me? If so, does anyone have a part number?

Edited: I see, the Trekker Outback adapter kit is for top box only, not the side cases. If any questions, Revzilla or Twisted Throttle are the experts and are very helpful.

I'm looking for the same... Could you find something? For what I see givi won't sell the locking mechanism (outback trekker) and sw motech still haven't either...

I researched that question quite thoroughly and came to the conclusion that there will be no attachments for Givi Outback Trekker panniers to SW-Motech EVO racks ever. It's due the construction and placement of Outback panniers locking mechanism. It is located exactly where upper rail of EVO racks is. I had to sell my Givi panniers from the previous bike and get SW-Motech ones. Kept just top box.

Look at the Kappa K-Venture. Basically the same pannier but uses an adaptor on the monokey rack.

The adaptor supplied to mount the kappa k-venture panniers on the givi racks doesn't work on the sw-motech racks :(

I had SW-Motech luggage rack + Givi Trekker Outback top case on my ex '08 R12GS. I used one of SW-Motech's adapter plate's - either Givi Monolock or Givi Monokey (I keep messing which is which). Worked just fine.

SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock EVO Side Case Rack and Givi Outback trekker aluminum panniers adapter?
Yes this is my problem too.
Revzilla says there is no solution.
When I bought the rack I had found an adapter that was supposed to work on the Outback panniers. Now I cannot find it.
Anyone solved this issue yet? Please PM me

Twisted Throttle said today - For Trekker outback cases, there is no adapter from SW Motech. You will need to use Givi CAM racks.
I quess I have to pick other cases or change my rack.
