My buddy told me "better not run off the road and crash, we'll never find your bike!"
Who's a cammie!? Oh that wasn't a yankee accent...
That camo is sadly effective.
Yep hiding all the important stuff.
Dude's an inmate.
He is now for sure!
Glad I didn't have to 'splain it.
I'm never riding without knee/shin armor ever again.
I had a downhill, off camber, right hand corner strew with rocks, and a washout/rut on the left side. Needless to say, I busted my ass. Not that hard, but my momentum carried me forward and I smacked my shin on something (I think it was the handlebar). My boots (Tech 3's) kept me from breaking my ankle, but I busted my shin pretty good.
I've used knee/shin guards since my encounter with a calf in NC in 1999.
Now, after 2 ACL surgeries, I use POD knee braces.
But how'd the camo hold up?
Maybe that's the reason he wrecked.
The bike blended in too well with the terrain and he misjudged his depth perception. either that or he took a knarly creek crossing when there was a perfectly good bridge right next to it
I went sans knee armor at BQF this year and had a limp for two weeks for my trouble..... Maybe that should have gone in Pee Leak?
The weather in the Sac Valley today is NICE! I'd say wish you FF's were here, but I wouldn't get any work done... Need to get back before my posts per day ratio drops :eek
Camo is still in great shape!
Actually, it's holding up so well I have been considering wrapping the new plastics in something (probably not camo!) to help them look better. The scratches/white lines from being bent/scuffs etc don't dhow up at all.
Oh, aren't you the funny man.
