I won't see a movie anywhere but there anymore.
There is a showing in the Springs on 1/7/2013 . 1550 Pulsar Dr .
I got an email yesterday that the DVD is available for purchase on Amazon & EBAY. Went to Amazon & they were sold out. Ordered mine off EBAY for $24. Am planning on hosting a "house party" for my riding buddies in the High country.
wow already on DVD?
That's probably the best way to watch the film (w/ friends, in an intimate setting). I was hoping to sink the hook into my wife and kids by going to the screening and I thought there might be others there with the same intentions. It was mostly crusty old riders like myself- we're already battling the hook...
Anyone want to meet up for some lunch before the show tomorrow?
How about the Tivoli? I saw Faster there
Actually I won't make it for lunch. My throat came down with something nasty so I might not even go to the show; we'll see.
+2 for the COS show. 60 to go...
In, 58 to go...
i would be down for this. Good way to meet a few of you gents. Are there optimal times or dates yet?
Gave up on getting another showing in Denver. Tickets would be north of $13 and tired of the hassle. Come on down to CO Springs.
I would like to do this. No problem to make it to the Springs, but probably working that day. I won't know until late Dec.
I was at the Denver showing on Sunday the 8th. Wow! I absolutely loved the movie. It combined the two things most important to me, family and motorcycles. Well, other than food, clothing, shelter, etc. But anyway, I thought the movie was spellbinding. I liked seeing so many people in the movie that I had actually met and talked to or at least new who they were, like Mert Lawwill. It was neat he was in On Any Sunday and now in Why We Ride, still going strong. I also learned some history I didn't know. I know the movie is out on DVD now, and I'm going to buy one, but I'm really glad I got to see it in a theater. I miss Indian Dunes.
Indian Dunes was a good place to ride, like Baymare, only better. But not as good as Goreman.
I was there Sunday as well. Glad we got there early, the theater got full pretty quick.
I wasn't riding back then but I remember Indian Dunes.
I grew up in the part of Canoga Park which is West Hills now.
i would travel to the springs no problem. when datees get firm post em up.
Tickets need to be bought before 12/30/13 for the Springs show .
Link to purchase tickets to the Jan. 7th show in Colorado Springs...
I went to the last Sunday showing. Great documentary! I passed on the new showing information to my riding friends who didn't make it. Hope you make the 100 tickets.
