Ahh yes. 55 is gravel, so a no go with the cruiser crowd.

looks like a good reason to go for another ride.

Might detour from @Voigtlander912 's ride in June to snag some while on that side of the state in June. Looking at the past tracks from Craig's Gravel rides and the SW WI RR patch GPX, blending the two is entirely possible.

Me too. Our TWAT trip last year was a good time and would like to repeat.

It sure was fun. These are the days I would not change for luxury beach vacation. On the way back Latka303 and I didn't find a camp ground with shower so we just let it be. Next morning's breakfast in Tomahawk was ...... quite interesting.

I agree. I have grown to hate flying to my destination due to work travel. If my memory serves me right, we just grabbed gas station food on Sunday. No one particularly judged our trail weary appearance. haha

I just happened to go by the WIDOT site and noticed that there are now two new Rustic Roads - 118 up in the Chequamegon - Nicolet National Forest & 119 in Door County on Washington Island.

Neither of these are a day ride there and back for me unless I do a ~800 day.

Awesome, I'll add them to the gpx file later this week.

So I was looking at the new RRs today and realized that 119 in Door County - Washington island basically goes around the entire island.
I've been there before and probably road on those roads. Does this count for me doing this? I still will have to have a picture with the RR sign though.

I'll be on the first ferry to the island the morning of 12 May to nab this one as part of an adventure to gather a...umm few RRs that weekend.

So my adventure this weekend got cut short by some bike issues. Instead of leaving Friday night, I didn't leave until late Saturday morning. Thus only 8 RRs and not 20ish that I was hoping for. This was a great time to be in Door County as the terror...um tourist season hasn't opened.

RR119 No Sign yet but I think this was petitioned for by the ferry service. $28.50 for bike and rider round trip. :bluduh

I was planning on heading up there for a weekend camping trip, might wait until the sign is confirmed.

Yeah, I should have done more homework. I got there in time to make the last ferry to the island but there was no return Saturday evening. I stayed at Peninsula State park and rode up in the morning. I could have stayed at the campground on the island and supposedly there was a band and everything. I missed out.

Thanks for confirming that the sign for 119 is not there yet. Anybody know if 118 is on a sign post yet?
