I can get a front wheel of a 125 sx for a good price. Its 21" and 1.6" wide which exactly what I need. It is supposed to fit KTM 450 as well.

Im just not sure if the hub will fit my 950 ADV. Does any one know the answer? How hard is it to change the hub?

I have a spear stock BEHR rim, can I take the hub of that one?!

    thx

I have used a 450 hub and laced a super enduro rim to it. Had to use the exc spacers. You could prob not use the hub (only one disk on the 125 ) but you could prob use the rim with your ADV hub and spokes. Don't hold me to that tho

thx for the replies. It looks like I will have to replace the laces, hub, disk and get two new disks to make a work, right?

Lacing pattern is a method of mounting the spokes in a certain pattern between the hub and the rim. It is not a part.

The adv front wheel axle is much thicker than the puny little one on other dirt bikes. You'll need to use a stock Adv hub with the 1.6 rim but you'll also have to use new spokes with different index angles for eg., from Buchanan spokes because the jap excel rims don't match the euro adv hub.

Axle is thicker, but its just a matter of swapping the outer spacers to allow an EXC wheel to fit an Adv or SE.

Of course there is only one disc and the spokes are not same spec as Adv/SE

    Yeah, same bearings.

I have fitted an EXC front wheel in my 990 to move it around while the 990 wheel was away for work :)
