Has anyone been riding single track between Rand and Grand Lake this past weekend? Looking at CDOT webcams, and seems snowed in up there... Had loosely planned a Grand Lake Single Track ride for Thursday/Friday...

Looks like you checked the road cam on COTrip.org (camera is on top of the pass) Unless we get significant warm up, you should probably stud the tires and pack extra socks.

Might be "hero dirt" by Thu/Fri. We got about 4" heavy, wet snow in Granby. But it's supposed to be 50 Tues. Weather Underground showed rain Fri.

I kept the same pic on my PC but didn't know how to post it. Deer are thick up there. I had never driven up there in the evening, always seemed to be heading up during daylight. Even in my truck it was scary with the amount of deer. Be high pucker factor on a bike at dawn and dusk.

Check on hunting season closure before you go. The good stuff west of the hwy gets seasonal closures.
