Received an email from Gorazd this morning saying thanks for my order along with the tracking info. He really is a great man to deal with! Pipes were shipped out Friday and I can't wait to get them mounted!
Today mounted my new WINGS for my KTM)))
DB killers OFF!!!!!!! and OUT!!! Fantastic sound)))
Called to Gorazd and said him that I am happiest man today
Delivery (express) from Slovenia to Moscow (Russia) 8 days.
2 cans weight 6 kilo!!!
The only thing I don't like about my wings.
The carbon fiber endcap starts looking prety rough after 2 years.
I would order without the caps.
I think I read a post about the same thing with a Wings carbon end cap in another thread, the OP contacted WINGS and they replaced the cap. If I remember correctly the manufacturer of the end cap had an issue with a batch and Mr Marovic sent them the bad end cap. I also think it was about the same timeframe as yours. You should send him an email.
Thanks for the info. I just might do that.
No problem! All of the communications that I have had with Mr. Marovic have been great. He is very concerned with customer service & satisfaction. He has sent me multiple emails throughout the entire process & has iterated over & over that if there are any problems to please let him know. I'm sure that you will have no problems dealing with him.
Here is a short video with sound of my Wings on KTM 990
Sorry for quality of video
USPS Just dropped off my Wings! Can't wait to get them mounted tonight!
I bought my wings with a 2 into 1 conversion 3 years ago, I absolutely love them. Goradz is super easy and a good dealer to purchase from. I won't hesitate to recommend wings exhaust to anyone.
Has the price of the wings increased? Everyone is raving about the price being soo much better than the Akrapovics but it's only a few hundred more... when your talking almost $900 US why not go with Akras which have a history in racing?
I installed my Wings a while back. I still love them. The sound is just perfect, not too loud but "deeper". Hard to explain, which is why I posted some sound comparisons in my write up here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=740911
The MPG is down. I'm now getting 28 on my commute which is a short stop and go ride.
The extra power is just a blast, you can accelerate fast at any speed.
Since the Wings came from Austria, did USPS collect a duty charge when they dropped of your Wings?
I started using Akrapovic exhausts back in the 90's. Loved them, and started using them on everything. Had a couple bikes that Akrapovic didn't make a pipe for, and didn't respond to inquiries about. Maybe they were too busy making a history in racing to respond.
I've gone with the Wings on both the KTM and Husaberg, and only wished they made exhausts for other bikes, as well. The can for my Husaberg was almost exactly 1/2 the price of the Akrapovic, plus the Wings comes with 2 different baffles, and a keychain !
Akrapovic makes nice exhausts, but I have no need to pay for their racing history.
Just ordered a pair!!!!!!!!!
Time to remove the toaster ovens-:eek1
Nope, no duty charges
And I think the producer was working for Akras before. They are both positioned in Slovenia AFAIK.
$900 is hundreds more than I paid for my Wings a couple months ago, but I don't know what the prices are now. If the name is the most important thing, then you should get the Akras. I just wanted some sweet Ti cans and the Wings more than fit the bill.
Man , it's like every day is Christmas! WINGS SHOWED TODAY!!!!!!!! They sound like raw power man! Headlight guard and graphics to go. Graphics went to printer/installer today. Man I hope they have quick turnaround!!

And I washed her for the first time. No real noticeable power improvement, but do they sound GOOD. Using the large DB killers. No popping on downshift which is good. and bike runs smooth. Ran it for 15 minutes after install then took her for a go. May check into a re-map but may leave well enough alone if mileage is still good. I am only getting 200-230kms per tank before the light goes on but I am also twisting the wick pretty hard and A LOT !!
