The worst tope I have ever hit was with my son on our last trip in Mexico. We were both on KLR 650'S ,and I was in front ,doing 75mph down a long winding hill,,,,came around a slow curve at 75 mph, next thing I know I'm up in the air/front wheel wobbling /heading for the ditch-far side with a lorry oncomming...never saw the f###ing tope,,luckly my son saw it all and slowed.
    Take care Buddy.
    Happy Christmas

Any notes on the trip home?

I am from upper Midwest, would you recommend trailering the bike to Corpus Christi or closer to border, I can make it there in 2 long days in my SUV. Rather spend the time in Mexico. Thoughts on that?

John buddy, great ride report...stuck here with my old friend "Jack D".... nice friend, just dosen't say much...

Glad you put more of the ride report out there, thought you might be shitten me when you said you rode that KLR to Mexico...it was way too clean to have that many klicks on it.

Got 8 7 days left on my contract and then heading to the "Hat" to pick up my new "old" ride. Are you heading that way, maybe you can haul it back to the Peg for me ???? Give me a PM if you are for it !!

Great RR and excellent pictures. :clap:clap

It's fun for me to see Winnipeg RR's as I still feel like it's home even though I left there a loooong time ago.

Please do another trip and another report.

    rw

p.s. ... the "I don't feel special" bit is a Canadian thing. You're stuck with it.
