Here are a few pix from this years ice racing so far,
I had to get up and run away from this one,
Stunning pics. Thanks.
Is it possible to hydroplane on ice?
We quit because I got cold!
I can't compete with kelsow's pics, but here are a coupe from yesterday.
Been lurking for months, finally registered. Here's a pic of my Tenere after 25 miles through 3 inches of ice, snow and slush.
No studs? you's a crazy bastard!
Stock battlewings. It was intense. I downshifted too aggressively and slid down a hill sideways at 15 mph dragging my inside foot. I had to change my pants when I get home.
The cold penetrating the brain...
It was cold last sunday, only -15 degrees C!
You'll fit in here just fine.

All I could find close to my house.
I enjoyed your Endurocross video. You going in October to Everett, again? My brother-in-law is an ace mechanic (a paid one actually) and I'd be happy to volunteer his time in your pits if you guys need the help, that is, if you go again. I know, I know, too many captains can sink a ship when it comes to repairs, but the offer is there.
We had a quick rain before the single-temp digits that dropped our 2 feet of snow to 18", so an even better reason to waste time outside wishing the boss would let me buy a BW. Ice fishing is great right now, so it's not all fun and games in the saddle.
Anyway, thanks for the reply and we enjoyed your video.
Did you make your snow tire chains? I've called and researched too many sites to come up empty, other than making my own. I can't justify any more time making chains for 5 or so rides. Well, I can, but it's ice fishing season. Any thoughts on the chains?
pingvin - What helmet lights are you guys running? They look very bright.
For all you haters, sorry for the ATV in the video, but that's what I sold to buy the XCW. This is my first real ride on the bike.
