Lovely story! Great photography! But how does one 'bimble' ? Does that require specific equipment? Handlebar muffs? Wouldn't it be simpler to just acquire some gloves? Perhaps the luxurious heated variety?

Great video, Bridge of Death was gnarledy! How your boots didn't slip of and plunge you into certain death I'll never know. Well done!

20170108_174723.jpg Not a riding picture, but picked Honda 250 for a buddy last night in Jersey. The owner rode it around the block to prove that the bike runs and operates. Made a u turn to come back and power slid it around. Happy riding!

I used to love doing that when I was a kid on my RM125. One day I tried chasing a rabbit that ran through a barb wire fence....Instant Karma! Rabbit 1.... me a ZERO! No more chasing rabbits!!

About 50-60cm at some points and it was sooo soft I wanted to sleep on it :p
It was the first snow for this winter. Wet, heavy and very difficult to ride through. (I`m a crappy rider also..)

Perhaps I should be feeling guilty, what with all those motorcycling-in-the-snow photos. But I don't.

cgguy09 and I went for pleasant little ride yesterday, over to Port Townsend on the Quimper Peninsula. That's just a small part of the much larger Olympic Peninsula. Temps started in the mi-30's, might have hit 40 in the middle of the day. Back roads were good except for quite a few frost patches in shady areas. (At almost 49 degrees north, the sun never gets that high so lots of shady areas)!

North Beach, Port Townsend. That's Admiralty Inlet, Whidbey Island, and Mt Baker in the background. Nice Rockster he's got. The Rockster and the S-bike play well together . . .

Mystery Bay State Park on Marrowstone Island. Olympic Mtns in the background. This is about 2 pm; you can see how low the sun is for that time of day . . .

Ha! Not where I live! (At least not at this exact moment in space and time . . . ).

Olympic Mountains today, over Dyes Inlet.
