All in all it was a great time went and had a burger at the local pub. THe Ural needs a new battery something fierce but it still kick starts just fine.

My battery is barely turning it over this winter. But it starts on the first kick.

Ok, how do you folks keep from freezing? I'm impressed!

After a half hour local pleasure cruise in my deep winter freeze of 35* I'm ready for the St. Bernard to come rescue me!

Gerbings heated jacket, winter weight baclava, heated grips, hippo hands, and a real want and desire to challange yourself.
A friend if mine just drove his 1200 GSA up to the north slope of Alaska.
    -22*F. With windchill -65* F ( he didn't use heated gear)

I've not tried riding at temps below 20F, but down to there I've been comfortable with just insulated bibs, a down jacket and snowmobile gloves.

I'll get a more interesting image next week.MN it's varying shades of grey, off white bit of brown, why the Norsemen who settled this region didn't do away with themselves is beyond me.DB

I dont keep from freezing. I normally stay within twenty miles from home because I am to dumb to put heated grips on so I ride till I cant feel my hands. Rest of me stays pretty warm and my lady friend gets all sorts of bundled up so she is happy as a clam.
