Whilst hibernating the long winter, a buddy and I disassembled and brought back to life a 1968 honda that was found at a garage sale this fall.
Pics and video on the way so stay tuned :deal

The float was stuck so the fuel shut off did the job for the test run.

That is too cool. I've got two trail 90's out in the garage right now and I got one running this winter also. They are fun to work on.

I love those bikes!!! That's exactly what I'm looking for to get my feet wet in a restoration project.

    My very first bike.

I saw a totally pristine one and it almost made me weep. They're pretty rare as they only made them for one year.

Couldn't find the stock fenders and stuff, huh?

kbasa-i have the origianl fenders and most of the air filter housing but they are a metalic candy apple red.i got the bike from my brother.he sells real estate -the owner was moving and gave it to him because he was getting rid of stuff before moving.i fixed the bike and when i told my bro what the parts bill was he gave my the pink.the motor had trans problems-i split the cases and changed the shift shaft.plus a lot of little stuff.bike is a daily driver now.i use it to run errands on close to home.

Just the other day I noticed a trail 90 behind a barn. Looks like an early 70's model. pretty good shape. No one home at the time. I'll be back.
    Cool SL 90!

palerider-your bike looks nice.i saw your post so i put the links up in case you needed some parts.i learned how to ride on a honda 90.i put 12000 miles on 1 when i was in high school.now i like it because its very user friendly to run errands on.i was going to put a trail 110 motor in the sl but local bike wrecker wanted $800 for a motor.thats when i decided to repair the origianal motor.

Thanks to all, this has been a fun project, and there is still quite a way to go for good daily driver status. This one has 2400 original and was found at a garage sale last fall and bought for $75. Not too bad a deal.
