Official word is posted. Leaf River cancelled for 20 April.http://forestcityriders.com/Schedule.htm
Hi All, happy spring at last! on the 2nd June i'll be riding a lot of single, twin & gravel around an area to the east of Rice Lake. i love to have some people to ride it with me so if you're interested please let me know.
If you were a week or two earlier, I'd be all over that. I go to school in Rice Lake, but class is out by then.
sorry Lojack but the forest is closed for the spring that from March 15th to June 1st or i'd be more than happy to!
Kevin, I live in Phillips am looking to ride, I have a DRZ 400, an KTM ADV 990r and also ride on the street(KTM Superduke). Up for just about anything. What do you typically ride( terrain and bike)?
Hi, Jas123 My main bike is a Cagiva Gran Canyon and i also own your DRZ's Dad! (DR 350) as for terrain i'll ride whatever's in front of me, sometimes i win and sometimes the terrain does...totally envious of your 990 (see my profile) but i could be talked into one of those new 1200's... i guess the 2 following links to some pics will help you to understand the terrain i ride both bikes on.
I'd love for you to come out with us on the 2nd June, that's definitely DRZ terrian unless your middle names are Cyril & Dypres?

if you're up for it i'll confirm some other details nearer the date-cheers!
Hi, i think i must be the killer of threads as no one's put a word on here since my last post in April... Anyway, i'm still planning on leading a ride in NW Wisconsin on the 2nd June (forest opens on the 1st). Let me know if you're interested, i will be back in Europe for a week or so between now and then so if i don't get back to you for a day or two, don't worry!
Be aware of a fire currently buring between Solon Springs and Drummond that may impact your planned ride in early June.
Thanks for thinking of me Fast1, but that should not effect us as we'll be riding in an area around 75 miles or so south of that. we've also had quite a bit of rain around here in the last week or so and that should help. we are though currently sitting right on the edge of the very high danger zone so i'll watch carefully and update on the thread if anything changes.
Love to go, but unfortunatly I will be at the superbike races at Road America that weekend.
Plated or no?
Hi, definitely need to be plated for this ride although i'd say all in all this will be a roughly 90% off road/gravel day with blacktop only being used to get to & from the general area and for the fuel/lunch stop. I hope that doesn't rule you out?
New GPS guided DS ride is now available.
Northwest Wisconsin Waterfall Tour
30 waterfalls over 263 miles.
If I was someone like kingbee that lived in that area, I'd wait a while before riding this as the area is very wet and sme places are not accessible right now.
My KLX is plated so I have that covered.
Keep the date and I should be good to go.
Another GPS guided ride to enjoy.
Duluth, Clam Lake, Ashland, and Bayfield Big Bike Tour
This is a scenic 278 mile big bike ride that tours a variety of nice motorcycle roads and Lake Superior shore towns.
Details about some of the places visited are contained in some of my other reports like the Lake Superior ride. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=798771

Look like I will be home Sat. night. I would like to make it Sun morning. Where is the meet up point in Cameron?
Hi Jas, (and all others!), Well i arrived home in one piece so we're all set to go out on Sunday 2nd June for the ride in the Blue Hills.
The forest has seen lots of rain and the opening day is tomorrow, June 1st.
We'll be starting in Cameron, WI. 54822 at a closed up restaurant/gas station at the junction of County road SS and State road 8 (there is gas available on the other side of the street). i'll be there from 9.30 a.m. and i'd like us to be away by 10 a.m. please. Directions to get there: come off of US 53 at junction 135 follow 8 to the east, it joins SS and goes north, at a stop light in Cameron 8 then goes east again at that light and the closed up gas station and parking lot is right there.
It should we a great day, it's definitely going to be wet, muddy & slippery. We'll go at a pace to suit all that come and i'll adjust the route as we go if needed. please bring a smile and a sense of humor and all will be good. The plan is to stop in Exeland for gas and lunch. i'm looking forwards to meeting you all!
If you're coming i'd appreciate a p.m. just so i have an idea of numbers-thanks!
