Here are some tracks for some very good (mostly) paved roads in Wisconsin's Driftless Region. Lots of fun twisties, great scenery and good food along the way too, 472 miles worth of tracks to keep you busy! Routes start and end in Westby where food, motels and camping are available.

    AWESOME topic and ride!

I am an avid trout fisherman.

There are probably few places that are so well suited to both motorcycle touring/ADV riding and widespread trout fishing in the eastern half of the U.S. as the Driftless area.

Its all nice riding, good scenery, interesting places to stop and check out along the way. Kind of just a nice weekend ride with your significant other or a group of friends.

There are a lot of great public fishing areas up here, you really can't go wrong by coming up here to fish. Check out these guys, I'm sure they know all the hot spots! http://www.driftlessangler.com/

This is close to our planned route. I made a few changes since I created this, but this is pretty close.

I'll post up some pictures next week.

Superb. This is most appreciated. I have ridden SOME small parts here and there/random bits of this but was riding with a group several years ago and I was not laying down tracks to get back to it. I just remember it was sweet. Perfect reach from Minneapolis to get away a couple days.

This is great, a mission~ a GOAL! :clap

    Thanks again!

Is route 16 good. I noted that the dots were along the road for scenic on the map. I always like twisty technical with some elevation changes. I will be in area right after the Road America race on June 4,5.

Thanks for the routes and photos. I will be in the area around June 7-9th coming from Road America bike races. Are the roads south of 33 ( Ontario ) about the same as those shown to the north? I will set aside more time if the roads to the south of Ontario/Cashton are better. Where did you stay in Westby? Are there any good campgrounds in case the weather is GREAT. Anyone else going to be in the area to ride with. I am a sane rider who rides his own pace. email direct is g.ramsdale@yahoo.ca

Not sure about Minnesota 16 never been on it! It was recently written up in Rider magazine. It will be a long day but the Road King can handle 600 miles better than I.
