There are still piles of it, they will probably spread more
The philosophy here in our City, what with the Lake, is to use salt as infrequently and as little as possible. There were some winter days this year where it was obvious they let the sun do it's work and expected folks to slow down. It worked. Less salt going into our drinking water, lawns, et al.
Aerotstich 3 fingers just arrived and fit nicely over my Titan's
That should help the Titan's become a 3 season glove.
Does that impede you from displaying the ADV rider salute? Inquiring minds want to know.
Two weeks, I am flying and the bike is getting shipped so it is waiting for me when I get there. Home base is Alma CO - "the highest incorporated municipality in the United States with permanent residents" population 270 elevation 10,578 feet.
Are you riding back?
If so remember US24 is your friendly 2 lane [sometime scenic] from almost there thru to western OH.
Sunday weather here in western ny so far calls for sun and warm enough to ride [think warmnsafe]. Maybe we can meet somewhere in them-there hills of western NY for coiffee and pie...
Well this is the trip I was supposed to do last summer and ride there and back. This time with only two weeks vacation the bike is shipping both ways and I'll have two weeks riding the continental divide, Moab, Arches National park, Pike's Peak etc.
Maybe Sunday again at the Maple Tree Inn 2pm???
I don't need one from scratch, homemade is good enough for me. Hell, I've even been known to eat store bought. I have no standards.
Have fun riding the mountains out west. I plan on going out there someday.
Sunday is possible. Saturday to ellicotville is off for me. Gotta work.
This was on the way home from work, Freezing rain.
On the brighter side, I picked up a pair of Pilot Road III today. Mounting the rear Saturday.
It certainly would confuse the recipient.
Two solid weeks! NICE!!
Colorado holds more riding candy than one state has a right to. Talk about drama and majesty. One of my favorite views is coming into South Park from on high........it is surreal.
Last year on My 2 week trek, we spent 3 days around Fairplay, just to the S of Alma.
Highlights in the area, Guanella Pass, one of the best IMHO in CO, some dirt on S end but good dirt.

Set a day too eat at Ritas, in Guffy, great friendly little place, with great food. The roads running east of there toward Cripple creek nice too.
Hmmm. Sunday may be a possibility for me. I will have to see if the stars line up.
They're good for the Vulcan salute though, and keeping your hands dry and surprisingly warm what with all that air gap in there. My first pair started to delaminate & they sent another, good stuff from those guys.
See you guys soon;

I'll buy a burger for the first one that can tell where this picture was taken from (within a mile or two) :) :) :)
Toronto, is that the CN Tower?
Nice video, the scenery is so beautiful out there that I could get distracted and not see that next hairpin turn in the road! Guanella Pass and Rita's in Guffy added to the to do list
Not Toronto, more pics tomorrow, but the more hints the smaller the burger, it will end up being a White Castle Rat-burger with Tails :) :) :)
Well, I passed my NY Class M road test on this crappy, wet, and cold spring day in the Finger Lakes... Glad that's over, and I am once again free to ride...
