Sorry. Wife's phone got back from repair & now I cannot see my pix using it. Can see on my phone & laptop, fwiw. Will fix thanks for notice. That's what I get for using the good camera, LOL.

Meanwhile, neighbor's willow is getting deconstructed. Nice forestry guys gave me this pile & I gave them $40. Looking forward to easy splitting & burning next year.

Also, cleaned the flue. Ps. Using a Sears humidifier as our fan. Has 'whisper' mode for fan speed, helpful for when you still want to hear beer foam bubbles pop.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

10 cord, mostly beech. Some no-name wood/hot air thing from home despot.

I had 2 cord left over from the last ten cord of tree length my friends chunked up in 2015 while I was healing a broken leg and back (Trans Taiga), because I'm an opportunist and take blowdowns for "free" heat. The wood shown in the first pic will get me two years again.

And now, compliments of a windstorm that wreaked havoc across New England two weeks ago, the BTU Gods have blessed me with another 4 cord of maple.

That is a super impressive pile Haymaker!!!!

10 cords is a lot of wood. What are you using to split it?

Now that is a HAPPY family.

Last night my wife and I watched a movie. My wife slept on the dog bed in front of the wood stove and Otter slept in her chair. I think my wife had the better seat for the movie. She fell asleep half way through the movie. The coals were glowing in the stove until late in the night.
    Good movie - great night.

He's really not that big. I'd say a medium size cat, less than 15lbs.. But what he lacks in size he more than makes up for with (bad) attitude!
