    Took my son to the Canada - U.S. game in '09. Canada got eliminated pretty quick. Hoping for a better showing this time.

    I looked into tickets for the finals at Pac Bell Park in SF, and the prices were outrageous.

    It's sort of like the Olympics for baseball, now that baseball is out of the Olympics!

    The boy wanted to go. We'd have to travel to Arizona to see Canada play. Sorry buddy!

    I'm watching DR v. Venezuela now. I'm not a huge bb fan, but I think the WBC is a great tournament. Guys get to play for their country's. If it wasn't a big deal, then the big name players wouldn't be in it.

    This definitely means something. Look how passionate the fans are. Wepa go DR. I'll take pictures next week when I'm down there of the full bars watching the games ;)

    A lot of big names aren't in it... And there are many fewer stars this go around than the previous tournaments...
