I prefer the T2LT premium to the Locust. A great little scout.

I went to download 8.0, but did my time zone converter in reverse. I thought it would be up at 6 AM CST, nope noon CST.

Had a couple nice battles with the PzIV last night. Gonna miss that gun:cry

What is it with finger damage this year? It seems to be the 'injury' of choice.

I can't believe how serious and life affecting crushed fingers can be. I mentioned a while ago that I'd shattered the bones in my index and middle fingers and cut through the tendons. I still can't make a fist...(Also possibly a bike riding ending injury). I've had breaks and repairs, op's and so forth, but this is the extreme end of fucking up life.

Anyway, I ran through the arty and now run my T-50-2 and found it great exercise and a small bonus for a depressingly shitty injury.

They said the new graphics engine would improve FPS. It doesn't.

Haven't run off a cliff yet, but I just had an encounter battle, where killing tanks in the cap circle didn't cause any kind of reset on the % bar. That's a game-changer.

Server stability appears terrible, and there are lots of comments disapproving of the 8.0 reality. Hopefully a couple days will sort things out - one would hope that the download servers and game servers are completely independent, including the internet access points.

Change from the "Improved" grapics to "Standard" graphics. All the maps still look better, and it runs way faster than 7.5....or at least it did on the test server. I went from 60-80 FPS on 7.5 to 115+ on Standard on the test server when I tried it.

    ok, I'll try that.

EDIT: still running like a dog. I think the server's being overwhelmed, but it says there's only 12k people on. I suspect play and download are sharing a line.

I do like the new stats page. Lets you see how you compare to others in the battle, which has always bugged me a little.

That's what I had to do. Also turned most of the extra stuff off. I went to 6 fps at "improved" to almost 30fps once I adjusted my settings.

Anyone wanna buy a slightly used PzIV?:lol3

I'm still trying to tweak the improved graphics....I can run it at maximum and get 25-30 FPS on most maps, but I want just a little more.

I really like the unique gun sounds. I get distracted by the new track sounds.

I am enjoying the new physics, though it makes it much more "arcade" than "sim" in my mind. Not complaining, but it's a distinct choice on the dev's part.

I've suffered about 6 server disconnects, though, which makes me fear for the stability of the game. I hope it's day-one bugginess they can work out soon.

can you switch to type of tank vs. name of player?
