Downloaded last night, I find it clunky and slow to load. My very first battle, I was dead before I could even see myself in game from the load screen. Ping isn't too bad, no lag, but shite performance on a decent machine that plays MW3 at an acceptable level.

I'll see if there are graphics card tweaks I need to apply to get it smoother, but if it's only that good I don't see myself spending much time just to be frustrated. I wish the action were slower so you could take your time getting to position, peeking out across the landscape, and then making your move. Seems like everything's a mad dash to known best positions, and a slug-fest from there.

I downloaded and started playing last night. No friggen clue what I'm doing. So far all I've managed to do is collect enemy shells.:lol3

Once I figure out the interface and memorize my keys it should get better.

I've been playing for over a year now(started on the BETA)
I haven't played in a month or so , but now I'm fired up to play some more.
I went the American Med tank route. I'm up to a M4A3E8 Sherman. I also have a maxed out M7. I use the 6 pounder for the high rate of fire. This one is may favorite so far.
If I play stupid, I get the crap kicked out of me, but I just like the mediums for some reason.

    I'm Skidmarx on there too.

Started playing an SPG (T57) and I find if my team has some common sense I can really contribute, especially if they leave at least one tank to guard the Arty's. If they all Rambo then I'm meat for the Ferrari tanks.

I tried a T57, but can't figure out how to target long range artillery. I did get a Tetrarch last night with it though:lol3

Left shift puts you into the overhead view. Left CTRL plus a right click on the mini map will allow you to move your viewpoint quickly. If you're going to be shooting only one little direction, use X to lock your chassis. This will prevent unintentional movevement that expands your aim circle. Other than that, it's find targets as your teammates spot them and then wait for the aim circle to tighten up. Arty is an exercise in patience and frustration....waiting for the aim circle to tighten, waiting for the gun to reload, aiming at a target only to have them move as soon as you fire, aiming at a target only to have the shot fall outside the probability cone time after time after time.....yet I still put my M37 into battle.

Oh, and one other sneaky thing you can do....as you play the maps more, you will start to learn the usual ambush spots. Look at those in the overhead view and watch for shot trails and then you can take shots at tanks you can't see. I've killed and been killed doing this.

Damn those TD's in sniper mode!
How can a tier 3 get grouped with tier 7 tanks?
Should I skip work and play WoT? :lol3

I almost like the arty better'n the tanks now (T57). Too bad the other players don't know enough to protect the artillery.:cry

Now I wish I could get more experience points faster........without draining my paypay account so I can get a longer range gun.

It's too bad to get to the M4 sherman I have to run the POS M3 Lee. It looks daunting with the main-gun, turret-gun, and machine-gun in a turret. Too bad the usable gun is the one not in a turret. That's right, I'm a TD without the big gun and heavy armor. Nice.

atleast one person needs to have a premium account, then they can create a platoon and invite their non premium friends....

I feal your pain on the M3, that was a brutal grind, thankfully I had the M7 at the same time and am past both...

Well that was a complete waste of time. After a LONG time downloading and another HUGE install, I cant click on the "accept" button on the EULA agreement. :lol3 I've installed Windows XP faster than this bloated thing.
I'll give it another try later, so far I am so impressed that I've already found the QUAD-BAZILLION :huh files it installed so I can verify it uninstalls itself correctly.
I'll try again later before I nuke the whole damn thing.

Edit: I just looked, this thing installed 43,703 Files, 4,974 Folders !!!! HO-LEE-SHIT!!! thats gotta be a record, Thats bigger than the entire Microsoft Developers Profession Visual Studio, and i thought that was huge!

you have to scroll the agreement to the bottom before you can except it. Works just like the one on World of Warcraft.
