    He's "mining" for bitcoin.

Renting out processing power for third party mathematical problems while being compensated for time/energy spent in the form of crypto-currency aka "bitcoin".

You could read the Wikipedia page, not sure if that'd really help or not.
It's not exactly easy reading, and I'm sure my basic understanding of the system is flawed.

I prefer my money in my hand, not floating about in the interwebz.

I keep waiting for the Sheriff to show up and ask about my excessive power consumption... :cob

I'm sure there are a lot of houses in the foothills with excessive power consumption, but I'll bet I'm the only one that isn't "gardening" :rofl

If your junk won't load, you should probably talk to a doctor...

But yes, the contacts list is kinda broken for me and at least a number of others as well. Doesn't appear to be mods-related as I get the same behavior both vanilla and with mods. If you want to platoon with someone that's not in the clan, try to jump in the queue at the same time with the same tank and you'll often end up in the same round in the 1st or 2nd try. Create a dynamic platoon if you're on the same team and you'll stay platooned when the game ends.

If I'm in the PLT mood, I'll open up TeamSpeak and see who wants to play. Thanks for the heads up though.

Easier way to do it (assuming your in TS together):
    1. Create chat channel
    2. Have other guys join channel
    3. Right click their name
    4. Select invite to platoon.

Yesterday, I couldn't even send a platoon invite to someone else in the clan using the clan chat channel. He was showing as online, and we were connected to the same server, but he wasn't receiving my platoon invites (nor I his).

Bill, Paul and myself have been trying to platoon but the invites are not going through.
We counted down the click and ended up in matches together - invite to platoon in a game is working - and after 3 rounds we're finally all in a platoon.

Tier 2 works great for this - not many players.

    What a PITA :patch
