I used to be big into WOT... But I found Angry Boats to be more my speed... I mean... World of Warships.
The new mission driven battle mode is a lot of fun. Every week a new scenario. Having a blast with it.

I waved at the Moscow sign too. A bit too far out of the way to pop in. Camping in Wall SD tonight.

Any of you video game addicted ff's want this? I found it on the free pile after the auction yesterday. Yours for the asking, although I won't turn down a donation for postage....

And sorry, just the book, no game, spaceship(s) usb dongles or other little swag that accompanied it...

    How I spent my day...

Most computer cases are made for 3 GPUs max. My mining rigs are 6 and 7 gpus each. Today I tried to figure out how to fit a 6 GPU mining rig into a 4U case. :norton

Here is how the case I am using comes. Drive bays in the front and a row of fans (too weak) in the middle.

Ditch the fans for ultrakaze 130cfm fans
    [IMG]

I then stripped the case down so it is completely empty and mounted roller rails for the rack
    [IMG]

Looking at the pieces that are in the case, this removable part of the drive tray gave me an idea...

I measured it into 6 equally sized spaces and test drilled some holes with the nearest tap size I had to find something that came close to letting a motherboard standoff mount on the tray

Test fitting using an old dead riser as a template:

    Mounting 6 good risers:

    Test fitting the modified tray:

    Mounting and wiring it up:

I then put some cards in and took the cross rail that I'd removed and slid everything around until it was in the best location. I drilled some mounting holes in the cross rail and drilled some holes in the sides of the case and mounted the cross rail (being careful to catch all metal shavings)

...at this time I only have the 4 cards for this particular case because I'm waiting on 2 more nvidia cards that are on backorder (but of course they charged my credit card a week ago) :patch

    up and mining!

...and as an extra reward; while I was out there working The Mine spit out another $350 coin :thumb

I'm upto 20 mining GPUs now... it is really going to hurt when the bubble pops and this entire thing comes crashing down... (rumor is Ethereum is going to start POS testing in September). :cry

    He's "mining" for bitcoin.

Renting out processing power for third party mathematical problems while being compensated for time/energy spent in the form of crypto-currency aka "bitcoin".

You could read the Wikipedia page, not sure if that'd really help or not.
It's not exactly easy reading, and I'm sure my basic understanding of the system is flawed.

I prefer my money in my hand, not floating about in the interwebz.

I keep waiting for the Sheriff to show up and ask about my excessive power consumption... :cob

I'm sure there are a lot of houses in the foothills with excessive power consumption, but I'll bet I'm the only one that isn't "gardening" :rofl

If your junk won't load, you should probably talk to a doctor...

But yes, the contacts list is kinda broken for me and at least a number of others as well. Doesn't appear to be mods-related as I get the same behavior both vanilla and with mods. If you want to platoon with someone that's not in the clan, try to jump in the queue at the same time with the same tank and you'll often end up in the same round in the 1st or 2nd try. Create a dynamic platoon if you're on the same team and you'll stay platooned when the game ends.

If I'm in the PLT mood, I'll open up TeamSpeak and see who wants to play. Thanks for the heads up though.
