It came w/ quiet pipes for a reason.

I don't really know if the harley's sound any better with loud pipes, maybe we're all just so used to hearing them :puke1

I'd call it a 127-way tie between every Japanese v-twin cruiser ever built with a dual-pin crank and open pipes.

The single-pin crank bikes (Shadow ACE, Yamaha/Star Road Star, etc.) at least mimic the potato-potato cadence of a Harley. The rest are gutless flatulence.

    Sounds like shit.
However, I'm guessing that it's so loud, it's clipping on the audio. Distortion just makes it worse. I would probably sound less bad outside, although more people would have to hear that crap.

i agree that guy is a dorkus maximus.

i have to say my strom has a nice deep (but not obnoxious) sound with staintunes than with a stock muffler, but it's all sunjective.

At lower rpm, that would have to be my F650 stock. Lawnmower?

I've ridden along side one on the freeway and at 70 it doesn't sound bad.

Have found that if I wear earplugs, it sounds good. Must be all those mechanical noises.

It is a general rule of motorcycling that one thinks other rider's loud bikes are obnoxious, but your loud bike sounds great.
