wt 950 vs 990

    Seriously though, neither of them weigh four-hundred-anything.

    I weighed my 950 minus the tool kit, and any farkles, but with a full tank of gas- it was right at 500 lb.

    Still have not had the chance to ride the 950 or 990 but they fill very heavy, I dont think i can put it up on the center stand,I guess untell i can get my 5'8 168lb azz to put one on the stand i shouldnt buy one. LOL

    The problem is in the design of the centerstand, not the weight of the bike.

    I have a Honda that is more than 100 lbs heavier than my KTM, yet is far easier to put on the centerstand.

    I think they use the same center stand for the standard ans the s model. Which makes it tougher to get up.
