No Sanderson. Good ride of the typical CC loop. I wonder why we park where we do with our tagged bikes, I hate the drive up CC road. I am ready for another Summersville ride. When Bob gets back are you guys up for a Paint Creek ride?

we need to find a place to park and go do a Ritchie/Wood/Wirt/Calhoun/Gilmer ride. Tons and tons of excellent dirt up that way.

Anytime and I bet Bob knows. He is wanting to take a ride starting at the 79/19 split. He says it is a good ride and goes through holly river and in the mountains. Lets get ready for the season.

Did you stop by Krogers by the way through. I saw a bike setting somewhere. You can see my house from the road.
I guess that cellular device you carry dont work either.

I live in Harrison County towards Salem just off of 50.

Plenty of FREE parking and refreshments available.

Garage to wrench in (minimal tools so bring your own)

Plenty of space to pitch a tent as well.

If you need a place to gather you folks are more than welcome.

Alright, I haven't posted in here in awhile, but just wanted to say that I've finally got my eye on one particular bike. Still working out the details. I have all the info on the bike itself, and know how much is being asked for it. Haven't exchanged money from one hand to the other, but hoping we get to that soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for the best, whatever it may be.

The bike in question is a 2003 KLR250. Decent price, well taken care of, decent mileage (seems to be to me, anyway...), and a good starter bike. The guy selling is an old friend of my boyfriend, so contact has been good. :clap

Should things fall through, I know there are other bikes out there, and plenty of riding days left, but I'm still hoping for things to go well. I have gear that wants/needs to be used! I refuse to stand at work all day, looking out the windows, watching all the motorcycles pass me by. I want to be apart of it. :deal

    Well, go grab it.
    Then go ride.

    We'll be expecting pictures :deal

Guys I need some help with tire size conversion.

Currently I have a 130/80 17 (Avon Gripster) and wanting to buy a Shinko 700.

    Conversion charts show the 130/80 17 equaling a 5.00/5.10.

    http://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcycle-tires/tire-data.htm

The Shinko 700 comes in 5.10-17.

    Is this right?

If it for the DR stay with a 5.00 or greater. I ran those on the KLR before I stepped to to the Versys.
