The closest things for me to see in Wyoming... is a statue... and a train with a beautiful sunset... other than that, I have to ride a few hours to get pics of anything else :lol3

Thanks for the memories. I lived in Cora for almost 6 years, that area of Wyoming is by far the most appealing to me.
The Wind River range is so often overlooked because of the Tetons, but the Wind Rivers are so much better in many ways.
Green River Lakes is a great spot to hang for a days rest if you are riding the divide.
I've spent many a cold winter night hanging out at the Cowboy Bar playing pool and drinking Tequila. :jkam

A few from what I consider my backyard; Flat Creek, Curtis Canyon and Sheep Creek. Thought this might be my last ride but, weather is holding, so think I'll get out again! IMG_2142.JPG IMG_2145.JPG IMG_2158.JPG

Here's a few shots from Atlantic City I took in 2015. Went back through WY in 2016 with the wife on the back of the V-Strom and had to stick to mostly pavement, completely different type of scenery. It's like everything good about that state is on a dirt road.

My daughter and her husband just moved to Tetonia last weekend, on the Idaho side of the Grand! They get the reverse view of the Tetons from their back deck = AWESOME sunrises. I'm heading out to visit over Christmas - New Year's and will ski Targhee with them, WOOOOT!!! Targhee's website says they got over 30 inches of snow in October...

I lived in Lander for many decades and that country around there is unlimited when you get off the asphalt; in fact, there really isn't very much asphalt. I really miss that - I recently sold my WR250R because riding dirt here in Virginia is just frigging BORING, nothing but excellent gravel forest roads that I can handle two-up on my 1150GS no sweat. Gorgeous riding around South Pass and Atlantic City!

I was on my 1150 going through that area so I was pretty limited that trip also. Next time I go west solo I'll be on either a KLR or smaller.

@WYO George this might be my year. '16 was a UT/CO trip with my college kid, so for '17 I'm back solo.
