Thanks Steady.. one can always drill a hole to get to the oil drain plug.
Please post the link for that bash plate, and thanks for posting the pics!!
And a couple of side views of the bike showing the bashplate coverage wouldn't hurt either, unless it's listed on their site
Renazco seat is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Very excited.
let's hear about the Renazco seat once you have had it broken in...
there's an X-C Renazco seat thread here:
What is the approximate size of this filter? You think I could just buy a dirtbike filter and it will work or is this special in any way?
Seat is back. Looks great. Will post more pics in the Renazco specific thread.
Gorgeous!! Let us know how comfy it is.. especially compared to the 2x4 plank stock seat.
The foam is mounted onto a plastic frame which fits into the stock mount, put in a loose piece of foam and it may come unstuck and get sucked into the deep dark depths of the air box.:eek1
Must say that black seat looks real good. More shoveling of my hard earned cash into that black hole.
Hey Steady... More pics of the Bash Plate pls mate!? Some side pics would be nice... Do you think your manufacturer would ship to OZ?
I emailed the bashplate manufacturer in South Africa but did not hear back
This is what we need for hanging soft luggage, such as my Ortlieb set. Who's going to step up and make one.
Found this in England:
More stuff: LINKY
More pic's as requested. JJ said he would post something here soon re his products, not sure of the protocol for advertising, otherwise I will PM you his email details.
JJ emailed me and he's checking postage to this side of the world.
You can show us his farkles here, and then hang a shingle in Vendors and you can provide a link here
Thanks for the side shots.
Does the Touratech bash plate have more side coverage than this one? It looks like it covers the waterpump more
Maybe someone else with a TT bash plate can post comparable pics, PLEASE?
Thanks for the link!! I believe BMW of Santa Cruz sells them in their Wunderlich catalog, but don't list them as fitting the X-C, but according to the UK site you provided, they will fit the F650 and the G650, that's good to know
Some info about Akrapovic pipes for the X series. (also posted in threadfest)
Here's some general info on the slip on line: http://www.akrapovic.net/product-lin.../slip-on-line/
