I was looking at Wolfmans site and was ready to purchase the Expedition dry Saddle bags for my XR when I spotted their "new" products section which featured the Monarch Pass saddle bags (which are top loaders ). Not knowing how long these have been out, has anyone purchased or seen them? I have waterproof stuff sacks that will work already and I like the idea I can just pull my gear out and walk away and add Fuel/other packs to the top of it.

I did some searching and may have found a set like / close to yours. I am going to check them out this afternoon, the new style that most of the dealers carry here are the same price as the Monarch bags. I would rather have the Wolfman myself.

thanks for the info ! keep you posted.

I went, I saw, I shook my head. Those poor ... whatever brand they might have been, not Cortechs, where garbage, seams splitting / rotting away like he had them sitting in water for a year. 2 days and 20 texts.... :baldy

Just installed my TRAX panniers today on the XRL. The racks went on pretty easy and actually add strength to the rear subframe. I like the design of the racks and the easy removal of the panniers.

This is the Wolfman Expedition Bags with Wolfman Racks and the SW Motech tail rack. Good quality products. Switching to Cycleracks on the tail just because I need the pelican case further back for two up operations and the cyclracks looks like a good sissy bar too...

Do cycleracks put a lot of stress on the subframe when loaded? Are there better racks or do I need just to beef up the frame?
