    WINTER VERSION

Whereas now I'm getting a nocturnal and muddy beast I think to a winter version less rally oriented and more functional outputs plagued.

Put down the 24 liters tank, the rally fairing and mudguard, the instruments tower and replaced with stock tank, a cross nudguard, an UFO fairing, a 200 watts stator with completely cc electric conversion to be able to install a 60 watt lamp and something more.

you're wondering what I want to wear?

a cooling fan for when I still employ 1 hour to make 50 mt
    A GPS
a roadbook if we decide to do some marathon
1 or 2 IMO for the same above reason

    Grazie,

I thought it looked like a Boano...just different.

Next time I'm in Turin I'm going to take a day and find that shop.

    Hey!
From the start of the 2nd fairing project..1st step to do the mould from a friend's fairing off his Beamer.
Once it's out from the mould.
    after some trimming and alteration...
Then choosing the most suitable lights...
Once the fab done, lights all in.
    Then the putty and paintwork...
Then the low fender goes to the XRV...becoz it needed more than the XRR...so at presant, high fender...
Bike has not been ridden since March...yet....it starts easy with the choke up,and 2kicks...
    So for now..few final touches,new oil,some lubs,will bring it out for a spin soon.....:norton

    Cheers.

Looks good. Interested front skid plate that goes in front of the exhaust pipe.

Maybe I'll build a fairing here before my next trip. I never had any issues with mine, but it's not a looker by any means =)

That there is the bike Honda should make now.

Don't even need to change the XRR. Keep it a kicker, everything the same (ok, maybe re-vavle and put proper oil in the suspension) then come out with those panels.

    Done.

    Best 650 ADV bike ever.

You guys keep letting this thread get buried. :lol3

Managed to put mine for sale and buy a klx250 to replace it. Dont think I can go through with it. The klx is turning into a fun single track bike, but it has nothing on the piggy when the road opens up. Did get rid of the klr though, doubt I'll miss it.

Giving up on the 'one bike fits all' idea that never seems to work anyways. Xrr is the touring bike now, klx for single track and weekend rides.

Piggy as it sits. Probably going to order some more streetable tires soon and keep these for the klx. Haven't decided on what to get though, I don't want to completely kill the off-road ability.

New toy. Leftover 2012, $4500 plus sales tax. I think I did good.
