Castrol GPS 10W-40. Supposedly that's all it's been run on.
I notice they have changed their recipe lately tho, different bottle than what the PO had..
Oil brands could be a can of worms, but I'd still like to hear what other people are using..

Sean-0, mine is out of rego currently so wouldn't have been me.

Plus I have a white Safari tank on mine, I have seen a standard getting around lately though.

I'm out towards Humpty Doo, dont venture into town all that often.

Doubt we'd be able to get to Dundee shortly, we're going to cop some decent rain over the next few weeks.

Sure is, we've got some decent rain on its way.

Been pretty hot the last couple of weeks, more humid than anything.

Doesn't make for fun riding, no escape from the heat when you're out in the boony's.

Oil and petrol are made out of the same ole shite , that is why there are some smell similarities :D

    Hey Digga,

Re: your extra large Safari tanks....can you show some photo's of mounting points and fuel petcock location??

I've managed to get a pair but they came with no mounts/and the left one has no petcock.
Are the tanks joined by a cross line?

Do you recon Safari tanks likely to have mounts?

    cheers

mate , the tanks are a fair ole commitment
you need to build an entire new pipe and mounts, mod the right hand radiator, build a bash plate, install a fuel pump, modify the oil return tube, relocate the overflow bottle, nothing too hard, just time consuming..
are you going on a long ride?

I stuck with the semi-synth GPS.. Was gonna try the Belray but it's same price.
Too hot for riding down here for the next week or so..
