A blast from the past
I know this has probably been answered a million times, but what is the best high output stator for the 650R?
Are they a pain to wire in?
betta bikes SA
Don't know about a blast maybe a puff !! How have you been ???
SEALS ARE GONE !!
Cheers mate, I always prefer to buy local if I can.
I'll give them a bell tomorrow.
Not to bad mate, just working and being dad, out around Ballera at the moment playing rig pigs. Looking like heading back to WA just quietly.
I never know but one day i might have the time to go for a ride.
How have you been ???
Busy being a farmer !! Season has been good for us.
Been doing the odd civil job for Senex out that way - Acrasia, Clifton Hills, Cordillo, Mungerranie They've got a fair spread on their leases now.
Not much bike time - although plenty on mustering bikes. Got a conference in Adelaide in July and hope to get the time to ride down.
can someone / a couple of the guys with fluiddyne radiators post up a pic of the left side lower area showing the clearance between the header pipe and radiator please
does this help , i can take more now if you like
nah that's good sean, My left radiator (stock) has always been close but the bottom tank rubbed through on the header today mutafuta:huh
white bros e series headers
that is xr's only header , over size from stock . its close bout 10mm away , but the bend would be different from yours
Quick question: Do you have to pull the radiators off to take the header off?
no just loosen them up leave em connected . you can then have the room you need
yes it's all in the bend mine is shorter/sharper which has cause this problem,
but something must be out as i had these header on my old xr for years without fault my rad guards aren't bent though:huh
That's bullshit, there's no way your radiators would be that straight
thanks for the seals cashevale
burkey i aint crashed on these 1's yet
the rego'd 650R needs valve stem seals replaced... only prob is I can't get the swingarm bolt out of a donor bike (so I can swap motors over n still ride rego'd one while workin' on it's motor)....... tried swingin' a sledge onto it (with nut on) but it hasn't moved............... any pointers??
They freeze between the crankcase bush and the swing arm pin. Had to cut my swingarm off to get it out and then replace the swingarm. Good luck.
shit a brick and I thought bashing it with a sledge hammer was drastic
