Question on this setup, Does this setup allow the bars to be moved forward and backward on the tree, to adjust the feel of the steering??

I came acrost a guy that is makeing a set simular to what you are describing here. His system allows for the bars to be moved forward or backward to 4 differant positions so that you can tune how responcive the forks are to the handlebars. This is a trick MXers and Trail guys have been doing to smaller bikes, with the bars back either on top of or behind the the stem the bike tends to be more stable, good for highway runs where quick turns are not as big a deal. If you move them forward over the fork tubes the bike tends to be more responcive to the bars, and may give back some of the BRPs sluggish trail manners. I guess pretty much the same effect as altering the rake angle.

Well, if it's Ron Wallace of RSW Racing. Ron’s web site is: http://www.rswracing.com/ then it is the same guy. And yes Ron was talking about adjustable bar clamps.

from talking to Walace the adjustments to move the bars forward or back will allow you to tune your steering feel, move bars back to make the steering more sluggish and stable, move the bars forward to make the steering more agile. and with 4 adjustment points it should be prety tuneable.

I wonder if we start contacting him if he might see how eager we are to get some, http://www.rswracing.com/ just let him know your interested

So I contacted the guy and he told me to call him as more can be made. So anyone have pictures of the setup? Also how did they work out. I have to agree this post ended really abruptly.
