    Woo Hoo:

    Have now:
    CRF450 Forks, Triples, Wheel, Axle
    Trail Tech Vapor
Anti Gravity 4 cell Is this puny battery really going to kick the beast? Bike needed a battery too.

Now if I can kick my second flu of the last 2 weeks I can get some work done on this thing.

My favorite bike was my TZ250 I raced for a time when I was in Hawaii and Northern CA in the AFM. The TZ rules! Nothing like it. I would have killed to try out a 500 back when I was still up to speed on the road machines. I made a choice a while back to stay out of jail so I have not had a fast street bike for some time now.

Nope, not me. I have worked very hard to keep that bike 100% bone stock down to the last bolt and nut. I have this silly idea it will be worth more that way.
It's an old Cop bike from Collage Station, Texas.

Thanks, I am really proud of that bike. I curently have the bike down for Pre-Spring maintenace. The one big upgrade this year is lower gearing in the rear end. The Sports have a pretty agressive cam but they sell they with high gearing for emmision reasons. It won't kill any in line fours but it will be MUCH more fun with lower gears.

That is my second Guzzi in some 35 years. Here's my first back in the 80's.I would guess one of the first sport bikes in Houston. I sold that bike back to the original owner about three years ago. Second photo is resto. in progress.

I think I was a little faster on the 400 vs the 430, both were WR's. My 430 is sitting up the road about ten miles, barely ridden for 20yrs. :cry
I keep thinking about buying it back for sentimental reasons, but rational thought gets in the way. :D

It was so many beers ago I don't remember how fast I was on it but I had just started riding/racing so I'm sure I was very slow. There was a guy that showed up at all of the races that rode a 430 automatic and swore by it. I never understood because it was always breaking down.

I know a guy that swears by the autos as well. His deal was that he made a rear brake pedal on both sides of the bike so he had a advantage braking into the RH turns.

My buddy had an auto, an 87 I think, it worked well for him but was very maintenance intensive. There was a one armed guy who bought one of Terry Cunningham's auto's, moved the throttle and brake to the left grip, he could flat haul.
My buddy went on to a 300EXC, and I tried making a CR500 into a woods bike. :lol3

Fits great. It's made specifically for the PB. It's available in stainless or titanium. I got stainless on eBay.

Thanks for the info Rob....I gotta agree with Red tho a pic would be even sweeter :D

Oops...looks like Mental already posted a pic for us....my bad :shog

I can't even tell its a powerbomb from that pic angle.....the shield must fit over the "bomb" part of the exhaust pretty well. A shields a must have imo for the exhaust on the L
