What are ya doin now, carb cleanin
Nope,,i did that last night
I`m just "chillin"
Length looks the same,,,but yours is alot farther out from the case than mine...:huh :huh :huh ...me thinks the mig welder may get to talk to this tomorrow...
I went out, took a pic of mine the same way,,looks like the MSR is definately different...i wonder how long the tip is on the MSR from the tip,,to the right angle bend????????????????
See you guys n gals in a week or so, I'll post when I can.
Off to NYC... after my laundry is done
thanks michael.....I'm going to clean up the connections for the cdi and coil tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
If you need help with the carb let me know
Its fine probably because the fender and headlight aren't mounted but it was straight
It is about 55mm from tip to the first right angle bend. It is about 23mm from the case to the shift lever.
As I recall the overall length may be slightly longer, and it does sit further away from the engine case. However, mine was bent so many times and then re-bent, I have no idea what the stock distances are.
Thanks boss,i appreciate the measurements, very nice of you to get that for me..i`ll check that against mine tomorrow...
Thanks again Kawidad..
I just mounted a new shoe to the rear. I replaced the IRC GP-1, which I like very much with the much cheaper Shinko SR244. I'll let everyone know what I think. I do notice their tread pattern is slightly different, mostly on the edge. It also has longer lugs, by about 2mm. They are both rated as 5.10's, but the Shinko is about 2-3mm narrower. They also have a more rounded or oval profile. They look good, but time and riding will tell.
Hummmm..i like the tread pattern,,,let us know how t holds up...might be worth lookin at
my new dash setup. im ready to go!
