My buddy Dave had one, the black and yellow. Had a Batman sticker on the front fairing. Could have been that one in the Chronicle.

    FWIW, a TDR250 is a terrible off-road bike.

No power or torque below 5500 rpm, with a steep ramp of power that start there and signs off at 9500.

Best to throw away the DS tires and go supermoto style, but that said, it ain't really all that great at that either. No juice out of corners 'cept at speed.

What the TDR250 is, is an exceptional mid-speed roadbike. Fun in the supertight stuff, untouchable in mid-speed terrain thats too tight for supersport bikes, and comfortable on the freeway and sweepers up to 100mph. It runs out of steam at about 115 with the right gearing. I've done a quite a few 300+mile days on my TDR with no issue, as well.

I got a plated 300EXC a few months ago, and now the TDR is collecting dust.

    Hi All 2smokers!
I have a TDR, have had it about 8 years now. Great bike and definitely high on the fun factor scale! Easy to keep running and have had no major or minor for that matter problems at all! I have noticed that you do have to like shopping for parts all over the world at times.
In the tight off road trails it gets to be a beast to wrestle with in the challenging terrain when your picking the thing up off the ground every few minutes.
I know of PDX Jim south of me and bought a aluminum swing arm from him quite a while back now.
My bike is a Japanese domestic with aluminum swing arm and a semi-gloss black colored motor stock which I have never seen another one of ever. They are as some of you already know were a silver gray color.
Spotted this thread and thought I might chime in.
If any of ya's got any questions about the bike I would be glad to answer!

Congratulations to you sir and all the TDR owners on this forum for that matter. I'm green with jealous rage right now. Search constantly for these with no avail. One came up on the RZ350 forum I belong to and almost came to terms on a trade for my RZ. Alas the seller traded for an RD350LC which was his first choice for trade. That's the closest I've come to TDR ownership.

P.S. This being my first post, it's only polite to introduce myself. My name is Wyatt and I reside in a nice seaside town along the coast of RI. Look forward to the wealth of knowledge and camaraderie this forum offers.
