Damn I think that gps is sold out already.
All packed up and ready to head out early tomorrow morning for a
three day ride down to Carrizo Plain National Monument and back.
The conditions are looking nice.
A few pics woodschick on the west forum took last weekend down
Man, that looks like a blast......I'll have to head north and join you one of these days
you happen to know what the part number is for that ?
Great picture. But where's all the trees??
Hello, it's from a BMW 650 GS Dakar, the old one (till 2003, i think). I just painted it in white. Very easy to mount.
Thanks. We'll have a beer!
I have this one : en.axp-racing.com/n-777/Phd-Enduro-skid-plate-4-stokes-777/Phd-Enduro-skidplate-Black_axp-777-AX1037.html
Very good !
Anyone know where to get one of these in the us?
That's the one I really want. I contacted them last fall and they don't sell/ship to the US, nor take PayPal, nor have any dealers in the US. And my bank made it absolutely impossible to send a bank check to them. I found a US dealer on eBay that sold their ATV skid plates, but they dropped out of sight before we could arrange to buy the WRR skidplate.
I want it, I want it, I want it.
I may have to become a dealer for them just to get one for myself.
Hey Olivier, wanna become a one-time exporter.....
I'll take 100 and sell every one of 'em!
PS click on the US flag to see the site in Engrish.
Exactly. The Cali. canister cover part number is 32C-2419E-00-00. (Part 32 in the parts diagram linked ot by stbob). $9.61. I haven't held one, but I suspect they wouldn't take a very big hit without cracking. Not a skid plate. Just a cover to keep water and road grime off the canister and front of your engine and they don't extend down under the engine like a skid plate either.
Looks like an athletic cup
so I take it the canister cover is not a nice flexy plastic , but more of a hard brittle type ?
For the 60CSx, and now the 78 series, there is this mount http://gpstracklog.com/2010/05/a-new-type-of-gps-mount.html
I have one for my 60CSx and it holds the GPS tight. I bought it from the guy who makes it here on ADV. Worth a look. I have no interest in this other than a happy customer.
I've got some more Wolfman stuff for sale if anybody is interested... all bought for my WR250X.... all brand new... http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=673662
Looks like it extends about 2 more inches than I thought it did. Thanks for the clarifying pic. Still a fair amount of exposure and, as you say, not really a robust bashplate in function. More of a splash and stone guard.
heck, where's the plain?
those are cool pics!
I am very busy now, but if you want when i will return from the Raid i can buy one and sell it to you...
That would be great. Standing by until then...
