yup, cleaner is down-under speak for filter......they're known by the term sardine skin in Finland apparently.....who woulda known
Yeah, now you got me into wanting to watch it again. Looks like it has made the list for the weekend!
Then yes I do. I actually had a Tiger 800 XC before the 690. Wish I could have kept that bike and added the 690 or FX to the stable. Wife had other plans.
if you want to bring the YZ up to Erzzzburg racespec™ standard you need to ditch the sardine skin/cleaner/filter. The weight savings alone will impress. Its all the rage in Finland
In a back to front kinda way....I've had the same recent bikes as you, if you count a Beta 250 as a YZ that is......you got excellent taste!
I actually got my ECU mapping for the 690 from an ADV inmate that lives in Finland. I have also been there myself with a company I use to work for. Cold as a well diggers ass at that place. Hyvinkaa, Finland
I keep down sizing because I'm not that young anymore and the weight makes all the difference on long rides through two track and single track.
This train has derailed! Why don't you guys talk about motorcycles?
The high point of the wild wonderful whites (besides the crazy ass shit) is Hank 3 plays "going straight to hell" and the old man tap dances at the end.
Found it! I love me some Hank 3!
¿Mehbe she's from Finlandia?
Kynsies momma she was
Ya'll jst made the midwest seem a lil more normal like now
Izzat sheep talk ??
Do you weight it down with superfluous geegaws and doodads such as footpegs and fasteners? Does it have radial cams?
Is it even Race Spec™?
on the subject of weight, I bought a lithium battery today.
It must have looked like I snatched it from the ladys hand when she handed it to me, I was expecting normal battery weight, but when there was hardly any weight I nearly threw it through the roof...
They are pretty weird. After a lifetime of lead acid batteries they seem unpossible.
My Ducati came with one. i did the same thing when i went to remove it for the first time, wasnt expecting how light it was. Looked like a football player trying to prevent a fumble. Amazing how they can cut that much weight out of a battery
You guys catched this one?
Will be interesting to see how that unfolds, any bets except for the boxer getting stuck?
It's amazing what Chris Birch can do on one of those 1190's. That will be interesting to see for sure.
I hope that Tourtech BMW comes equipped with a winch.
All of the above. And i have the fastest color. Blue. If anybody else chooses to get the superfluous geegaws make sure you get the bonafide superfluous geegaws. There is a difference.
I've attended the Chris Birch adv course. He does shite on that 1190 that I couldn't do on a 300 two-stroke
