I had a Star Tac. It replaced my Nokia bag phone. :photog

I got the optional big-ass battery that clipped on the outside. Worked great for a month. One day I was talking on it and I noticed my hand was getting warm. Then I noticed my hand was getting damned hot. Then I smelled burning plastic. :lol3

I chucked it across the yard. That thing was all but in flames and my dad was still on the other end going, "Hello?" :rofl

    Motorola replaced the phone gratis.

Last 'dumb' phone I had was a Nokia. Best call quality I ever had, although my BlackBerries are close.

I still have one of these sitting on my desk cause I could never deal with HP & RPN, it is older than most of the people in the building.

Almost everybody has the 82 here, good times :-)

Edit: Hmm... that good times tune might actually have been around that time as well.

I use an HP11 app on my phone because I don't know how not to use RPN. :lol3

I'm not sure I would have passed statistics class without the mighty HP11.

BTW, I gotta get me one of them no maintenance Japanese bikes. After the two day ride last weekend in heavy dust I had to wash it and clean the air filter.

It was brutal. If I can muster the energy after all that, I might lube the chain. Maybe a nap first. And, yes, the grass desparately needs cutting.

But my maintenance whore has dibs.

We are of Scottish ancestry. And a little Montagnais thrown in.
Our old world ancestors were lowlanders, shipbuilders, and that's how they came to Canada. :freaky

You'd do that regardless. I have a feeling if you ended up in one you'd put the "gentleman" in "gentlemens club".
