Those pics aren't very far from each other and where you rode is surrounded by some of the best riding in the country.

I was riding from Salt Lake City to Virginia. That was day one. Black Canyon was awesome. Only saw 4 cars in 70 miles. Was headed to Canon City to crash at a friends place that evening. Would love to spend some time out there riding again. And the road over monarch crest was fun right up until I flat tracked a corner due to the invisible black gravel they put down on icy roads out west.

    Here's my TBT.

This was included in the chattel when I bought the house I'm currently in. It had a Yamaha 400cc twin with a chain drive going down to the VW transmission. I got it running and took the boys for some rides but the thing was pretty slow. I regret not swapping in a WhiRR powerplant for that top-end rush. :norton

Drunken Ebay shopping :freakyWE (Im throwing my wife under the bus here) bought it solely because it said Fried Pies and we were drunk and hungry :raindance

One of those mornings that Plan B can't fix :lol3 woke up and realized that we(she) did a bad thing :dirtdog

It was pretty cool, just took up space and never got used. Had an Onan twin, 3 on the tree, foot clutch, NO BRAKES :yikes, and a top speed of 45ish. Bought it thinking wife would drive it around town promoting her business, but was titled as a motorcycle and she never bothered to get her license. Decided it was just too much of a project and sold it. Guy who bought it was going to put a GSXR1100 motor in it, never heard if he did or not.

I buy projects like this with delusional thoughts, wife doesnt help matters, then end up selling them. I have finished a bunch of them, but most sit because I seldom have time to mess with them.
