That is strange, usually Mich are one of the smoothest tires you can buy, maybe one of the beads didn't seat properly, had that happen before.

Actually, no. Other than Pure SCs, I don't see many options.

Another option is Avon. I have an AM63 on the rear and will get one on the front on Friday.

I placed an order for the Pures, as my plug is leaking. How do you like the Avons?

The rear Avon is fine. I still have the OEM front tire on it. I have no idea how long it will last since I only have about 650 miles on it.

I got the Avon mounted on the front of my Smax today. It does feel different than the OEM Kenda but I think that's because the kenda was worn out. It had a whopping 2630 miles on it. Once I get some miles on it I'll post a review.

I have 5500 miles on the stock tires. They are both in bad shape. I am trying to decide on the Avons or the power pure tires. Different opinions have me confused. The Avons seem to do well in wet. The power pure seem to last longer.

I paid around $60 for the rear Avon and $49 for the front. If I'm not happy with them I'll try to Power Pures. I was thinking the Avons would likely last longer than the Power Pures but we shall see. I do have Avons on the rear of my Super 8 and my Majesty. The one on the Majesty only has about 1200 miles on it so it's too early to tell how long it will last. The previous tire was a Metzler Feel free which was good for about 5,100 miles. The one on my Super 8 has 4400 miles on it and is down to the wear bars. However, this is a front tire that I mounted on the rear wheel because no one makes a rear tire in the correct size. I would expect a rear tire would last longer. The OEM Chen Shin's lasted around 9,000 miles but were a real hard compound.

I'm hoping a few more manufacturers will start offering tire in the correct sizes for the Smax. I'll bet they already offer them in European and Asian markets.

Not super impressive, but 230 miles on the scoot, and 90 miles on the tire... this may be a long term relationship

Welcome. How about some pictures of your scooter and some scenery from Portugal. I had the chance to visit Lisboa many years ago. I wish I had the time to explore it more as I was only there for one night.

How did my '15 Smax get over to Portugal? 20170125_151816_001.jpg My wife of 47 years is half Portuguese. That Portuguese blood is hot.

    Thanks for your welcome.

In Lisbon it's not normal to see a Majesty (SMAX in USA), I only see till now 3, Honda PCX is the favorite. In Europe Majesty is a 125cc.

I use the scooter only to go work, the trips are made by car because I have a small daughter. But I can put some photos of Portugal. Can I use this thread to share some photos?

Ken Robert if your wife is half Portuguese, you have to visit Portugal :-)
