Thank you both for the info! These all look good, so will have to check them out the next time I'm at the Revzilla showroom or my local dealer. Much appreciated! :freaky

She waits patiently for me to come outside and play.

Stuck at the desk on a glorious day.

Work for an FBO chain. (Network Engineer. Built the network for 30+ locations about a decade ago)

Don't know much about aircraft. Those could all be John Deere tractors and I would still be doing the same thing. Everyone else that works here wouldn't. :)

Here is my daily view out the window.

Houston Hobby? If so, one of my favorite FBO's. I spend too much of my time in the pointy end of that first plane in your window view. I'll have to look for that bike next time I'm there. Used to be a DR, KLR or something parked there many days. Again, if that's Hobby.

Good eye. Yes it's Hobby. And yes, you would likely see 2 KLR's parked in the no-parking pocket by the door. (One mine. One my software engineer)

But I ride the S10 daily since I got it. The KLR gets lent out or sits.
Next time you land, just ask for "cowboy". We can talk bikes all day. :)

I'll look for you next time I'm around. I always wondered who rode the KLR, but never asked around. I've been frequenting that place for over 6 years now.

Nice job. Actually, the monitor in the pic can be seen when someone comes to talk to me. So "official" stuff only. But the second monitor, Ipad, and Lumia 920 are secret weapons at my finger tips. Folks think nothing of walking by and seeing gadgets in use in an IT room. :)

Looks like there is a Merlin on the ramp (farthest to the right) - a rare sight these days. Got some time in one. They sure can be noisy.

My window is some kind of quiet barrier. I can barely hear when a jet taxis and turns and tests the TR's right at me.

But there is some kind of Mitsubishi (ME2?) plane that visits daily. And that thing makes a racket. And one of the older small citation jets has an ear piercing whine when it spools up.

My expertise on jets, as I stated earlier, is very narrow. I know this: If the wings stick straight out, its slow. If they sweep way back, it hauls a$$. And just because it's big, doesn't mean they will buy any fuel. (Tankers) And finally, Lear 25's and 35's land empty! They put my kid through college. :)

They definitely contributed to the decline! I remember the King Air guys would rub it in sometimes by plugging their ears when the Merlin would taxi up. :lol3 One noise pollutin' machine.

Likely an MU2. They have Garrett engines, the same manufacturer as the Merlin engines.
