Micano set VS Italian Dakar design philosophies. :lol3

Notice how high the exhaust headers sit on the Triumph. The head is way up there.

No wonder it's a bit Toppy. Allegedly. Never to be mentioned in a triumph forum of course.

and this is why I need to beef up the skid plate.. bottomed out so hard that it pushed the skid plate into my oil filter and dented it..

It's the ricochet offload unit from Utah cycle sports. $185 u.s.

It's 4 mm thick and beefy. It's rubber mounted to the engine case.

Think I'm going to fab my own frame mounts to take the load off and reduce the chance of punching a whole in the cast aluminum engine cases

Going to add sound dreading material to the inside as when a rock hits it it sounds like a gong symbol going off. " boing!!!"

Nice bike Kenaroo. And perfect place to ride. (Big Bend)

Very few bash plates for the S10 are Big Bend proof though.

And you are right, it is all about how they mount.

Big Bend is also very bad on tires.. I almost destroyed an A-60 Scout in less than 1400 Miles..

I just have to remember the s-10 is not my enduro race bike and I have to back off a little. :evil That's hard to do as the bike is so much fun to go fast on...
