Micano set VS Italian Dakar design philosophies.
Notice how high the exhaust headers sit on the Triumph. The head is way up there.
No wonder it's a bit Toppy. Allegedly. Never to be mentioned in a triumph forum of course.
I feel your pain...spring just doesn't want to come it seems....I don't feel as bad as we have no where near that much snow.
Using it to plow?
crappy quality.. better next time..
Does she still fall for that line?
Surprisingly good grip from the K60s:
What did the TCS have to say?
That's what TCS-2 and Off are for

Elle est très belle cette Ténéré Space Traveler!!
couple of our big bend Texas trip this past weekend.
Looking over the valley in Big Bend State Park River Road.
This one is outside of Sonora Texas .. loaded up with the giant loop bags.. really good for a 5 day trip with hotels..
and this is why I need to beef up the skid plate.. bottomed out so hard that it pushed the skid plate into my oil filter and dented it..
Looks like a nice thick plate with horrible mounting locations.:eek1
The perfect S10 - stripped down and dirty (the rear foot pegs can go too). Great looking bike.
Which skid pate is this?
It's the ricochet offload unit from Utah cycle sports. $185 u.s.
It's 4 mm thick and beefy. It's rubber mounted to the engine case.
Think I'm going to fab my own frame mounts to take the load off and reduce the chance of punching a whole in the cast aluminum engine cases
Going to add sound dreading material to the inside as when a rock hits it it sounds like a gong symbol going off. " boing!!!"
3 day weekend is on the approach. I'll get to break in the Tenere a little more

Either Malaysia or Alabama, I forget which...
Nice bike Kenaroo. And perfect place to ride. (Big Bend)
Very few bash plates for the S10 are Big Bend proof though.
And you are right, it is all about how they mount.
Big Bend is also very bad on tires.. I almost destroyed an A-60 Scout in less than 1400 Miles..
I just have to remember the s-10 is not my enduro race bike and I have to back off a little. That's hard to do as the bike is so much fun to go fast on...
