Where might that OHV area by Hungry Horse be? Have the one here in Kila but would love to find another.

    Thanks, Chris

Head out Colorado road past the forest service station and veer left it the Y with the dirt road. There will be a large dirt drive to your left after a few hundred yards, pull into that.

Send me a PM if you get over this way, always looking for someone to ride with.

How is the riding in Kila?

No lots of snow on top of Wild Bill had to drop back down to WildBill Road.
Then tried to loop around to Truman Rd hit snow at The ORV crossing on Truman Rd trying to loop back down. I back tracked and cut over to Browns Meadow Rd and I think you could drop down to Nirada.
So In short Truman Rd is still blocked with snow Before the OHV trail crosses it.
I think you could make it down to Lake Merryronan or Summers by taking Wildbill to Truman saddle to Blacktail Rd and down to Summers.

Woke up the KLR250 today and and went for a jaunt through the soft snow and ice. The 650 is still sleeping and while she sleeps replacing some valve shims and doing the standard thread strip and helicoil insertion!!

Haven't heard him come down the road past me yet - but then again he does have alot more ice on the road, up past my place, than I do.

:cry I miss my piggy... But the embers of ninefiddy land are warming... Or maybe a E900 restoration...

Saw a bike heading northbound past the airport at midnight tonight coming into work. Made me think of ADV and you guys.

    Hope all is well :D

Got mine out today and have been riding around a bit. Waiting until after finals are done next week before I get out and play much. Looking forward to my summer off, it will be balanced between fishing, riding, and building a sidecar for my DR650 so we can take the dog with us.

Rainy weekend, what to do? Take Jr. out around the ORV trails. Spent a few hours running around the trails, scouting some dead trees, (need some handrails) and playing in the mud puddles and ditches those 4 wheel guys put in. Much more easier than with the 650.

Hope someone else is out playing around.

Well now, its been almost 2 yrs and the road is again clear.

Took Junior out for a jaunt around Ashley lake with the daughter riding her crf250. Was nice an muddy still.

Have the 650 apart waiting on the new 685 kit and worked over head. So painted the pink plastic back red and hoping for parts soon.

    You still around Frank?
