    Hi!

I'm looking for brake rotor for 86 R80G/S. There is whole bunch of them on fleBay but ... I don't know if those rotors will work on my bike. Can anybody point me where I can find information on compatibility of airhead's parts for different years and models?

    Thanks,

you will need to learn to use this. Once mastered, it will be the greatest tool for that kind of info. A little history reading on the developement of BMW bikes wouldn't hurt as a good foundation.
This Fiche system is sometimes more accurate than what the dealers use. That's a fact, not opinion.
    ANYWAY, here ya go

+1 from someone who works parts in a BMW shop, Max's Fiche is top notch!
And yes, it has lots of info not in even in BMW's ETK parts fiche (and much easier to use I might add!)

Yep. First find the correct part number for your bike and "copy" it. Then go back to the main menu and use the search function by "pasting" the P/N. This will show all the bikes that use the same part. I have occasioanally found some mistakes (just as in the 'fiche itself), but for the most part it's a great reseach tool.

    Good thread.

I've frequently seen the discs from R100RS's advertised as front or rear, but the pn's on Max are the same.
