anybody know anything about yes trials helmets?? thanks
yes YES are very nice hard to find any more as i don't think anyone is importing them.
thanks for the reply, it was a nice lid but did not fit my head anyway
They got the helmets seem a little price too me though...
So beside's chic euro styleing,
Is there anyway that a trails helmet is different then say a 3/4 from Shoei or Arai?
Me personally I've grown attached to my chin and have a hard time riding without a full face, even at slow speeds. But for those that feel like you have a better view with a chinless helmet, this might be the way to go.
Trials helmets are quite different. First they are MUCH lighter than a traditional open face helmet. Second they are cut different in the back to allow more neck movement (like tilting head back....way back). Usually well vented as well.
I had the same reservations about the open face as I have ALWAYS worn a full face. Took some adjusting but now I couldn't go back...for trials riding anyway. I've been riding trials since 2001 and have yet to tear my face off...yet
