Only got the camera out a few times, but here are some pictures.

Here is my 'camp' - got in late after a wet ride over Mt Hood on Friday night, in the dark, AppleJam clued me in on good a dry spot.

Ended up setting up near Will, the GenuineSquid, with the blue toes. I always enjoy Will, he's got a quite an imagination.

Will, had one of the three trailers at this years AVR. Though, he had the most plush seat cover ...

    ...there's a good boy.

Half of the "Jackson Two" from Longview. They both had monster KTM 990s, and from what I could tell, can ride the hell outta them. Though, it's probably easier when your 6' 13'.

I like Doug's choice in bikes, he's got a nice setup working, and is a real cool fella.

Tony (El Pacifico) did a great job leading us on a ride. I tried to stay on his tail, but he really moves that 800 with all that fancy Suspension he's added on. I had to move back in the pack a bit and let the younger guys follow.

"And then I jumped a log 'This Big'"...hiya PigPen!

Corrado reminding me it's an ADV photo shoot, while Tony is happy to be showing us his new "neighborhood". I wish I had a closeup of Ryan's shirt...the 'giant' on the left. It was classic...guess you had to be there.

Then it was on to some more fun. Tony took us down Hedges grade, cross Mill Creek and up Suicide Grade. The grades weren't too bad, but the creek crossing claimed a few riders and Mill Creek Road, isn't much of a road anymore. More like a stream bed in many spots.. Blurry picture of yours truly.

One of the Jackson's, not sure which.

The good news is a few of us got to ride the technical stuff twice after picking up some "replacement oil" (and beer) for a Tiger that got hooked on crack at the top of Mill Creek. A few other scrapes, broken parts, and waterlogged bikes and boots were had before we got out of there, but we all survived and most seemed to have a good time...though the parts bill might not be so fun for some.

Next morning, was time to load and go.

Though I did get up early enough to say goodby to the neighbors and horse around a bit.

Another fun event in the books. Thanks to Jeff, and Shelly, for opening up their property to us Motorcycle Rif Raff. We come from all kinds of backgrounds, but the common thread of the love of wind on your face, dirt in yer teeth and beer on your breath makes these things feel like reunions with faraway loved family. See ya next time.

I'm still kinda bummed I couldn't hang for the weekend but I had a good visit and ride Friday and this spot near AJ's pad made my KTM so happy it wanted to pose for a glamour shot.

Now that I'm somewhat caught up at work I want to give a big shout out of thanks to Jeff and everyone else that made this a great event. It was most excellent to meet a group of like minded riders. I am looking forward to future rides and get togethers.

The ride home was great, very little traffic, gas at the frog lake chevron. FR42 and 46 were practically empty, no fire traffic at all. Hwy 22 was another story...

Darnit - I was afraid of that when I saw that blue foot! What pieces did you break, there's enough in there that some of those bones are extras right? Time for you to visit the "Faceplant" forum, since I'm guessing you'll have some time to kill.

    Get well soon Will.

Bummer. Thought as much myself after swelling and turning colors. My previously broken toes are aching in sympathy. Still be riding weather in 6 weeks.

But the boot came off so easy.

now imagine what that would have been like without MX boots on?

glad you made it home otherwise the logistics would have been a pain.

I got some footage. But there really isnt anything noteworthy other than a crappy view through a tree of Corradokid135 struggling to pick up his bike in the creek.

ooohh we all want to see that.
I just got all of my footage onto the computer today, looks like most of it is aimed badly but I'll see if I can find some highlights.
