So are we going steady now?
Just sayin', there's a few other options for affording a wopping $7.22 per race weekend besides "being a trustifarian."
I cancelled my cable TV almost a year ago. That's over $1800/year saved right there.
If I cancelled cable I'd be murdered in my sleep. :eek1
Besides I'd need to invest in other equipment to stream stuff to my TV. Plus I'd have to upgrade my internet connection. It's not just a matter of subscribing. For me anyway.
Yeah I know Speed sucks. I'll live with it for now.
Be interesting to see if that picture gets Wiseblood a vacation around here.
I don't really know all the rules, but it may. That's why I will be interesting!
Check the WSBK thread! Free legal streaming info there.
I still don't need my BMW, but I'm going to wear it out before I get rid of whats left. And I sure as hell won't buy another one. I figure by the time I can't afford to replace all the parts I've worn out the Man won't let us ride anymore anyway, or my ADV adult diapers will be on backorder at Touratech.
I cut the cable cord once. Then went on Business travel. Came home and I had cable again.:huh
I'd set it up so we could stream anything off the net directly to the TV. in Full HD and Dolby surround sound. I managed to convince the females that fill my garage with stuff that this was OK. They agreed. Then I was off working...
AT&T makes my wife a deal on "higher" speed internet which just happened to include U-verse.
I still mostly stream stuff from my iPad to the TV. I never watch anything over the cable live. I'm just not home enough to make it work.
Once the U-verse deal goes away that service will be a thing of the past at the little box on the hill.
I figured this out when I noticed we were only watching stuff we recorded.
I decided to nuke my last motorcycle magazine since I get what I need from Krop and here. That subscription money can go to these guys. I liked the magazine just couldn't get time to read it. Maybe if I ate more fiber. :huh
This new station for watching WSBK will be funny. Right now, my ONLY choice is to stream whatever that station chooses to make available for streaming. We'll see how that goes this weekend.
Still, I really hope this MotoGP season is as fun to watch as it looks like its going to be from just the one test.
Does the motogp video player let you adjust the quality of playback? HD is nice, but we live out in the sticks and our internet isn't very fast (sometimes have trouble with netflex). I don't want to drop $130 and get glitchy videos.
AND $130 is a lot of money when you've got a wife, child and one on the way all living off your paycheck...
What was the original subject of this thread? Cable TV? Internet? Nuclear fusion?
Oh yeah, motorcycle racing...........

^^^^^ Cliff notes:
I wake up with a supermodel every day and I have a great career and am very fast oh yes and I wake up with a supermodel every day
Serious though nice time to go out as number 1 and enjoy life.
lives in CA, rides supermoto practice days for fun, is rich, doesn't have to work anymore, hot wife, etc... yeah, not too bad. Even after been a douche in MotoGP.
Fantastic. Max has always been my favorite.
Yes pretty damn great life. My buddy the huge podcast listener told me a story about a rider signing where they were fawking with Max's picture drawing mustaches on it and stuff and he got pretty pissed off about it
Why did your buddy get pissed off?
